- RSrobin smithJul 29, 20261.0Best Fitness is one of the few gyms in the area that offers childcare, and that’s one of the main reasons it’s such a great option for parents! Unfortunately, I’ve been very disappointed with the quality of care as of recent. On multiple occasions, I’ve walked in to check on my child and found the childcare workers on their phones while supervising a room full of children of various ages. Another time, when I dropped my child off crying, neither worker got up to comfort or assist him. One remained seated while the other was holding her own child. On another visit, a worker sat behind the desk watching the children from a distance instead of actively engaging with them. Childcare requires attentive, hands-on supervision, and these experiences have left me questioning whether my child is receiving the level of care and attention he deserves. It’s disappointing because the childcare staff used to be warm, interactive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy working with the children. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, as this amenity is one of the gym’s biggest strengths. Right now, I no longer feel confident leaving my child there, and that’s a shame.
