I had an absolutely wonderful experience being helped by Mary and Erica! They were kind, caring, and generous - They truly went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and help me quickly get a pair of glasses that I needed ASAP. It wouldn't have been possible without their expertise and kindness.

To start, the staff were all very nice. However I received a pair of prescription sunglasses that had cracks/scratches in the frame with broken lenses. I brought them back easily for an exchange. This all went well. But when I got the new ones, right out of the box they were completely distorted so the optician attempted to fix them, which she did. However, when I examined further the pliers she used left around 4 massive gouges in the frames. Not really acceptable for $450 sunglasses.

This Wilton mall location was the spa of eyeglass stores. We were greeted immediately by the wonderful associates who kindly directed us to try on some frames. Once we chose some glasses, we were introduced to Erica, the optician. Erica was absolutely a blessing in our quest for the perfect lens/glasses fit and look.We left highly satisfied with our purchases. We even got on a payment plan for the other 2 glasses at 0%interest. Wonderful experience all around.

I was recently fitted for my 4th pair of prescription glasses AND my first pair of prescription sunglasses, at the Wilton Mall Lens Crafters. I LOVE this place!!!!! The girls treat you as if they’ve known you for years!! They are SO helpful, knowledgeable and honest, when picking out new frames, (especially when you’re alone and needing someone’s opinion). I ended up receiving COUNTLESS compliments on the pair I literally JUST replaced, after having had them for the last two years. I mention this because I had been quite hesitant about purchasing them, but they ALL assured me that they “were the ones.” Turned out, they were absolutely right!!! 😊 Thank you so much Lens Crafters employees! (Not to mention the selection they have too)!
Amanda, in particular, was the one who helped me with ordering these two new prescription frames. Her knowledge of “vision,” and the serious problems that can come with it, has literally saved my right eye-No hyperbole!! 😳
While trying on the new frames, I had told her about a recent issue I was having, that had come completely out of the blue, a couple of nights before. Upon hearing about my symptoms, she STRONGLY suggested I contact my regular Optometrist immediately, and went on to explain the seriousness of those symptoms. I thankfully followed her advice, and ended up having laser surgery, on two retinal tears, FOUR DAYS LATER!!! 😲
Thank you SO, SO MUCH, Amanda! Your expertise is to be commended……and I will certainly be back when I’m ready for another new pair! 👏👏👏

I had a terrible experience here that left me incredibly shaken. On a Saturday, I was hit in the face by a falling tree, which left me with a large gash near my eye and severely bent my glasses. Since my usual shop was closed until Tuesday, I came to this LensCrafters location for an emergency adjustment.
The woman who assisted me was mean, completely unsympathetic to my injury, and spent the entire time lecturing me. She repeatedly told me I shouldn’t wear my normal glasses during yard work and needed to buy more "yard work" pairs—completely ignoring that these glasses likely saved my eye. Worse, she aggressively cranked on my frames with her bare hands, avoiding her tools entirely. As a lifelong glasses wearer, watching her handle my frames was terrifying.
When I finally got them checked at my regular shop today, I mentioned the situation and they told me they’ve been hearing a lot of similar complaints about this location lately. The staff here seem to dislike their jobs and the public. Avoid this location unless you have absolutely no other choice.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
