I really love this place and love my flexologist, but scheduling is such a hassle. Weekend (Saturday only) slots are always full and I work a job where I don't always get out at a time that would allow me to get to my stretch. I hate the membership, I hate the credits. I hate that the credits expire after a period of time even though I paid for them. Life is busy and they're not willing to work with that. I paid $700 for 3 months, I should be able to get an appointment that works for me. At this point, I need to forfeit credits (money) because I can't schedule anything.

This place is GREAT! Assisted stretching by trained professionals (yes they have a degree in this field to be able to work here) has so many benefits beyond yoga and self-directed stretching. They test with advanced technology and listen closely to customize your stretch. They are all professional, kind, and amazing, but I am sticking with my flexologist Micheala in Pittsford!

UPDATE: I have changed my stars from 1 star to 5 stars to reflect my latest interactions with Stretch Lab. Emailing with the Owner cleared up things up significantly. The policies I referenced are Corporate Policies that the front end staff are powerless to change. The owner, however, was extremely responsive after this post and my credits were reinstated--even some I had long since given up on. The owner has always been very responsive to emails but I think recently they see the benefit of breaking with some of the Corporate Policies. I have an immense amount of respect for a business that revisits their policies to evaluate whether or not they continue to serve the business and their patrons. As always, the staff is amazing. RESPONSE: So there is this cool thing that you can do: Pay your employees if the stretch is cancelled last minute and have a policy to deal with clients that abuse the cancellations (i.e. more that three a year if they are going weekly) instead of making coming with COVID a better option than staying home (I did not do this FYI) for your loyal customers--particularly when your business in this location is shutting down three days a week due to financial struggles. When I had COVID, I had to wait until after the stretch appointment to find out whether or not I would forfeit the stretch. Unless there has been a massive change to the policies in past three months (approximate), to keep credits from expiring you still need to pay $50 for a credit extension or $15 to freeze the membership and save (but not use) the credits you have. Freezing the membership also seems to wipe out all your credits towards Challenges so it is only worthwhile to avoid losing credits. The policies are why I cancelled my membership after over two years as a loyal customer. IF THE ISSUES BELOW WERE FIXED, FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY. ORIGINAL POST: I have been a member getting 50 minute stretches weekly for over a year. The stretches are amazing--provided you get someone invested in the experience rather than someone with a time clock mentality. The stretch policies are ridiculous. Have had issues with rescheduling a stretch within 12 hours despite just testing positive for COVID or having a fever/vomiting overnight. They said I would lose the credit so the options were to forfeit the credit or show up contagious--neither of which are ideal. Also, all the credits expire after exactly one month which doesn't sound awful but ends up being pretty tedious. I have also had issues with booking stretches when they say they will--though they rectified this when brought to their attention. Just a VERY disorganized and not well-though out business approach. I want to leave a five star rating but the minutiae makes it unethical not to give people a heads up.

While I enjoyed going to Stretch lab in Pitsford NY, I am leaving a 1 star review because I was under the impression that I would be able to transfer my membership to my home state when I was finished working in Rochester. Backstory: I am a travel RN and was working a 3 month contract in Rochester. When I spoke with a representative from Stretch Lab, I told them this. They told me it was not an issue because Stretch Lab had locations across the country. I signed up for the 3 month membership at $289/mo. This includes four 50-minute sessions each month. My contract was terminated 4 weeks early, so I was unable to use the last month of my membership in Pittsford. I contacted the location and requested to transfer the membership to the Grand Rapids MI location. I was told I was not able to do this. That same day, I was charged for the last month of my membership. I just feel that this is poor customer service. It is in poor taste to charge a customer for services that are not going to be provided. While yes, I did sign a contract with them, it was verbally told to me that I would be able to continue my membership when I came home.
