Associates are either woefully misinformed or downright dishonest! Contact lens exam on 5/2; was told trial lenses would be ordered (prescription wasn’t in stock). Called 6/12 to inquire about the order. First, the associate said no order was placed as the trials were provided at the appointment. When I reiterated they were supposed to be ordered, he changed his tune and said, “Oh, due to a high prescription, these take longer to ship but they’ll be in next week.” [Note: I’ve never known astigmatism to result in exceptionally longer shipping times]. Call again on 6/19 and speak with another associate. This person says, “the order was placed on 6/12 and hasn’t arrived, but I see in the system it should definitely be in today.” When I questioned the 6/12 date (considering the exam was 5/2!), he placed me on hold and came back to say, “an order was placed 5/3, but with a high prescription, system changes, and logistical challenges, we reordered the trials on 6/12.” Well, which is it?! Meanwhile, someone isn’t able to see clearly! Yet again, I call on 6/20 and speak to a third person. Now, she admits my inquiry on 6/12 prompted an order to be placed, prior associates were looking at the wrong screens/systems/notes, and the order should be in by 6/25. Nearly 2 months later: contradicting stories, still no trials, unclear eyesight, and extreme lack of trust and confidence in Pearle Vision - Pittsford!
