BURD Home Health is a leading agency for the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP). The program allows people who need care to hire their family members, friends, or anyone else they trust as paid caregivers, and the caregivers are paid by Medicaid. Our team assists in registering for the program, onboard caregivers, and manage payroll.
We are a verified CDPAP facilitator to work with the Public Partnership LLC (PPL). Headquartered in Rochester, we are currently serving families all around New York and five other states. We provide local in-person support in Rochester and Buffalo and remote support in the rest of the state. Our mission is to help families keep their loved ones out of nursing homes and provide care at home.

- LSL SApr 1, 20251.0Burd Home Health was good because when you called, someone answered and you could get your questions answered and everything but NOW that everything has changed their is no personal care manager no one person you can talk to it’s just a recorded automated system and you have to press all these numbers just to wait on hold to not talk to someone and if you finally get ahold of someone it’s a random person you don’t know and it’s very annoying, it’s very difficult to actually talk to someone!! This system sucks and it’s just a call center now! It’s very unorganized now
