RRH Emergency Department - Potsdam

The new Emergency Department at Canton-Potsdam Hospital officially opened and is located on the first floor of the Regional Care Pavilion, accessible via Cottage Street. Patients with life-threatening symptoms such as heart attacks or strokes should call 9-1-1 or visit immediately—St. Lawrence Health’s emergency departments are always open and fully equipped for urgent care needs. Canton-Potsdam Hospital (CPH) is the only Level III Trauma Center in St. Lawrence County, offering 24/7 emergency coverage with a team trained in trauma care for severe injuries like car accidents, gunshot wounds, and brain injuries. The center meets national standards and continuously advances trauma care through rigorous education and training.
