  First of all, I’m one of those people that couldn’t believe my hearing problem was all that bad. Sure, I said “What?” more often than most, and I complained that people didn’t speak very clearly – they mumbled a lot. But then, finally, when I couldn’t really enjoy a movie or a play, I went to an audiologist to get tested, and yes, there was a hearing loss…. So I started looking on the net for information about hearing aids, so I would know something about them before venturing out. Of course I had sticker shock! The most helpful information on the net was at HearingPlanet, and through them, I made the connection to HearCare Hearing. It was a stroke of good luck. I remember the first time I put the hearing aids into my ears. It was even more shocking when I took them out, and realized just how much I was missing. All the lovely gentle sounds – like birds singing, leaves of the trees rustling. And there are fewer “Whats?” and a much happier wife! I’ve been seeing Dr. Jeeter for a couple years now, and he has consistently been there for any problem or question I’ve had. I play the piano and am a lover of music, so the way music sounds through the hearing aids is very important to me. The first hearing aids I had just didn’t do the job well enough. Dr. Jeeter went to work behind the scenes to find aids that would meet my needs. He knows that the ultimate test is in the ears of the wearer, no matter what the claims might be. So he was willing to experiment, (at no cost to me), with a very positive outcome. The hearing aids I’ve got now are wonderful with music and with voice. I highly recommend Hearcare Hearing and Dr Jeeter! Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, he genuinely cares. Perhaps the most important quality is the respect that he shows for those of us that count on him.
