I am not someone who usually writes negative reviews. In fact, I typically only leave reviews when I’ve had a great experience. Unfortunately, after multiple visits to this pharmacy, I feel compelled to share mine.
On three separate occasions, I have been treated very rudely by the same pharmacist. I don’t know her name, but she is a younger-looking woman who is usually working during the daytime. Each interaction with her has left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, despite my always remaining polite and respectful.
What was even more upsetting was watching her interact with one of her coworkers. The cashier politely asked her to repeat something, and instead of simply doing so, she responded in an incredibly rude, condescending tone that made it seem as though she was speaking to someone she thought was unintelligent. It was honestly difficult to witness.
Most people visiting a pharmacy are there because they or someone they love isn’t feeling well. A little kindness and compassion can make a huge difference. There is simply no reason to speak to customers—or coworkers—the way she does.
Because of these repeated experiences, I now purposely try to visit in the evenings just to avoid her. I’ve even considered transferring my prescriptions elsewhere because of how uncomfortable she has made me feel.
The rest of the staff has been pleasant, but one employee’s behavior can have a significant impact on a customer’s experience. I sincerely hope management addresses this because everyone deserves to be treated with basic kindness and respect.
