Took my father there today because he had blood in his urine. They ran test decided he needed a catheter because he was unable to empty his bladder independently. We were there all day the staff has nasty attitudes from the time we walked in starting from check in. Doctors/nurses leave the patient there for hours you ask questions and everyone comes off like you're a bother. Then instead of admitting him they send my father home with a foley catheter mind you he's a dementia patient and I did recommend this wasn't a good idea and shows discomfort and tends to act out more because of this. They still insisted on him coming home. Meanwhile still blood in his urine nothing cleared out at all. We get home my father is doing everything to get the catheter out. I'll never bring him back there they are trash. If I can give them a 0 I would. I work the Healthcare system and no one should be treated like this

I was in south nassau three times in less than a month, can't say anything bad other than the third time I came in it was by ambulance, the gentlemen that were the emts with the oceanside fire dept were beyond excellent,, true professionals, they had my driver's license, my medicare card and my nyship card which they presented to someone in the E.R. to admit me, they were never returned to them or myself, when I realized they weren't returned and tried to locate them after I was discharged I got nothing but excuses and lies, I actually know the emts that transported me to the hospital, my id cards were not returned to them, every phone call I made all I got was people blaming everyone else, i even had someone blatantly lie to me telling me they were returned to me when I checked myself into the hosp,, I was on a.sttetcher, nowhere near that desk not in the condition to check myself in, I find this extremely careless showing no regard to safeguard such important documents for a patient, like I said the rest of the staff I dealt with in the hospital was top notch, but there is no excuse for what I was put through over my lost documents, they should be embarrassed

Worst hospital ever. I’ve been going to the ER like every other day for the last 2 months with pain from the back of my head to my lower back nausea vomiting diarrhea, tingling and numbness to both hands, shoulder pain electric shock going up my spine etc etc. They told me theirs nothing wrong meanwhile they only do a cervical cat scan and tell me that it’s impossible for my neck and spine to hurt at the same time. Then they tell me I need palliative care. Like really!
I think this hospital is giving away doctors license. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

I am extremely concerned with the conduct of Mount Sinai Health System regarding my privacy and repeated unwanted contact.
Despite multiple formal complaints submitted directly to Mount Sinai, as well as filings with the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights, they have continued to send me correspondence that I explicitly requested to stop.
I have:
* Contacted them directly multiple times
* Submitted formal complaints
* Issued a written cease and desist
None of it has worked.
What is even more alarming is that after relocating, they somehow obtained my new address and continued sending mail. This raises serious concerns about how my personal information is being accessed, updated, and used without my consent.
At this point, this is no longer just an inconvenience—it is a persistent disregard for patient requests and privacy. I strongly caution others to be aware of how difficult it may be to stop communication once your information is in their system.
I am continuing to pursue this matter through all available regulatory channels including legal.

There seems to be an ongoing problem with this hospital. And the heads of the departments are the ones to be blamed. Some of the workers are not courteous, unwilling to help. I experienced a situation at that hospital last night, where a patient was buzzing for help for almost forty five minutes.It’s only when I went to the nurses station I complained about the bell sounding, they attended to her. She was cold and needed a blanket
I saw a young nurse looking at medication, like she has never seen something like that before, it was amazing to her , to look at. Just imagine, she was about to administer that medication to a patient.
They should be hiring experienced nurses, and not just ego, and thinks it’s a good place to find a husband .
Not a dedicated staff
Think before submitting yourself there.
