The store employee suggested I go to Warby Parker “because we don’t accept donations at this location.” I suggested he find a way to get them to a LensCrafters location that participates in the program.

A tourist who does not speak English well purchased glasses here and was sold a one-year insurance plan without fully understanding what they were agreeing to. Since the customer was only visiting the country temporarily, this insurance was not useful to them. I believe it is important for sales staff to make sure customers clearly understand additional charges and services, especially when there is a language barrier. The product selection is great, but I would advise customers to pay close attention to what is being added to their purchase and to carefully review their receipt before paying.
