  Went in for a repair, Caroline tho busy took my glasses went into back, 3 minutes later came back with repaired glasses, outstanding service and professional attitude ! Highly recommend

  Except for Dr. Ren she was amazing, even staff here was terrible. The tech was TERRIBLE bad even yelled at me. The equipment was broken. The exam was $113 but the machine was tilted on the side.

  I booked my eye appointment at the 1430 3rd Ave Lenscrafters with a particular optometrist who was recommended to me by my partner. When I arrived, that optometrist was not there and I had to see another (with no explanation or discussion). After the eye exam I was told my prescription had not changed (it had been 5 years since my last exam, by another eye doctor in Kansas City). But when comparing the new and old prescriptions, I noticed the Axis of the OD (right eye) had changed by about 020. I purchased new glasses with thinner lenses from Lenscrafters in store. That same day I ordered new prescription sunglasses online with thinner lenses through Zenni using the new prescription. When wearing either pair of these new glasses, I would feel disoriented, slightly nauseous, and my left eye had a feeling like it was being pulled toward the upper right. After a week of trying to get used to this, I went back to Lenscrafters for a prescription re-check and to adjust the glasses. I was again told my prescription had not changed. When I asked about the difference in the Axis OD number, I was told that the difference doesn’t matter. We adjusted the glasses for a better fit, but that did not fix the problems I was experiencing. After another week I returned (4th time) to Lenscrafters and we determined the problem was likely from the thinner lenses as the size/shape of my prescription Zenni sunglasses was the same as my old regular glasses. I then purchased another pair of glasses in store without thin lenses. I went back a week later to try them, and the problems still did not go away or lessen. I returned those glasses immediately and left. I decided to just continue wearing my old glasses. In summary: After a month (5 visits) of trying to get a standard eye exam and new glasses that work, I did not see the doctor I had an appointment with, was given a prescription that I am unsure is correct, and was not able to get a pair of glasses that work, nor do I know what could have been causing the vision problems I was experiencing with the new glasses. At no point did I get what I signed up and paid for. I would have been better off not going to this LensCrafters. There are plenty of other optometrists and stores within 2 blocks of this location.
