Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. Staff was good, especially the gentleman who welocmed me at 9am for my appointment. Please get a chair with wheels on it. It is very difficult to move up to the table and the associate did not move the table to me.

The exam was great, the cost of frames, even with insurance allotment was disgracefully high. I will not pay that kind of money for frames and lenses

I almost never write reviews for servers like this but my experience at this LensCrafters w the entire staff & Dr Hamza was truly AMAZING! Dr Hamza not only did a thorough eye exam but also provided advice about wearing my contacts for max comfortably that no other optometrist had ever bothered to explain in the 15+ years of wearing them. Walked out quickly a new prescription & will definitely be returning. The front desk and other staff were also incredibly accomodation & ensured I got the maximum amount of discounts possible. Super grateful to have found my new local optometrist. :)
