If I could give 0 stars I would. extremely disappointed with my experience with AirSculpt, particularly when it comes to postoperative communication and patient care. I paid a significant amount of money for my procedure, and I feel like the level of attention and communication I received before surgery has been completely different from what I’ve experienced afterward.
I also feel that the advertising creates unrealistic expectations about coming out looking “snatched.” I completely understand that AirSculpt/liposuction is not a weight-loss procedure, but I think there needs to be much clearer communication about who is most likely to achieve the dramatic results shown in their advertising. In my experience, it seems much better suited for people who are already relatively slim and looking for enhancements or contouring rather than someone expecting a major transformation.
I also wish I had been better prepared for how painful the procedure itself could be. My personal experience during the procedure was much more painful than I expected based on what had been explained to me beforehand.
I also have questions about why drainage ports were not used in my case. I have repeatedly tried to get clarification about this and other aspects of my procedure and postoperative care, but getting responses has become increasingly difficult. I would have appreciated a much clearer explanation of the postoperative protocol and why certain methods were chosen for me.
I now have multiple masses in my breasts following my breast fat transfer, which has obviously been concerning and has required me to seek additional medical care.
I understand that complications can happen with any cosmetic procedure. What I’m most disappointed about is how difficult it has become to get answers and appropriate communication from the office now that I have legitimate postoperative concerns.
I have reached out multiple times asking questions about my procedure, postoperative care, and medical records. I shouldn’t have to repeatedly text or consider physically going into the office just to get answers about my own medical care.
When someone is paying this much money for an elective procedure, patient care shouldn’t feel exceptional before payment and then become difficult to access afterward. Patient care does not end once the procedure is performed and the money has been collected.
If you’re considering AirSculpt, I strongly recommend asking very detailed questions beforehand about what results are realistically achievable for your individual body, what the procedure actually feels like, postoperative pain and healing, whether drainage ports will or will not be used and why, possible complications, revision policies, and what kind of postoperative support you will actually receive.
I genuinely wish these things had been explained more clearly to me before I made my decision.

I don’t leave reviews at all but I need to share. I went here to pick up my friend from her procedure the other week. Everything is very clean and the actual facility is gorgeous! Alli at the front desk is the kindest and sweetest. I was waiting for a bit since I got there early and she spoke with me and reassured me that my friend was okay while I was waiting since I was getting kind of nervous! She said everything would be okay and it was! Seriously the sweetest and she gave me cold water while I waited as well as went back multiple times to check when I asked her. Seriously the most attentive and kind staff here. It really meant a lot to me since I was having a bad day as is, she really did turn my day around💕

I am 1 week post op (full abdomen and tightening). I just want to touch base on things that ppl may want to know. 1. Alex (consultant) shes very sweet 10/10. 2. It is so pricy to get any cosmetic surgery done, but financing was def a good idea (for me). 3. The team was amazing my nurse Dr. Perkins (sorry if I misspelled) was amazing even checked on me after my procedure front desk staff lovely 10/10. 4. The after care, now this will put you through it, its just the soreness that will bother you depending on ur pain tolerance honestly I hate this part but hoping the soreness will go down soon. I really think its just this memory foam thats the issue since its putting pressure along with the compression garment. 5. For me 1 week I already see the differences in the way my body is shaping (along with def watching what I eat, because I am not doing this again, lol) but im loving it cant wait to see it 1 month post op. 5. Yes always look at the reviews and do your research always number 1. This is my first time and years down the line I will be back. But def book with Dr. Perkins hes great 👍.

Beware Beware Beware. Beware of Airsculpt NYC. I paid $18k for Airsculpt for 3 areas . Dr Perkins ended up performing surgery on just one area for me. I have reached out to him so many times asking him to refund me for the unperformed areas. He keeps telling me that he has passed a message to the management to reach out to me as soon as possible but they never did. I'm considering a legal actions if I don't get my money back. This's unacceptable. Beware guys

My experience at Airsculpt has been amazing. That can only occur when there’s staff members and surgeons that empathize and care for their patient’s needs. Julissa Nunez was one of the first person that I encountered with, who helped me with this life changing season in my life both mentally and physically. She will always be a phone call away when i needed help. Airsculpt is not only a cosmetic procedure is a life changing experience that brings confidence! Thank you so much!
Frequently Asked Questions About AirSculpt - New York City
What is AirSculpt®?
AirSculpt® is a patented, minimally invasive fat removal procedure that removes fat cell by cell through a tiny entry point—without scalpels or stitches. It also tightens the skin during treatment, making it ideal for patients seeking smoother, more refined results from body contouring in New York City.
Is AirSculpt® invasive?
AirSculpt® is minimally invasive and does not require general anesthesia. Patients are awake during the procedure, and recovery time is short, typically 24 to 48 hours, making it a popular option for busy professionals and parents in New York City.
Am I a good candidate for AirSculpt®?
If you’re over 18 and have stubborn fat that doesn’t respond to diet and exercise, you’re likely a strong candidate. AirSculpt® is ideal for individuals considering a full mommy makeover in New York or a targeted enhancement like a Brazilian butt lift using natural fat.
How is AirSculpt® different from traditional liposuction?
Unlike traditional lipo, AirSculpt® is gentler, more precise, and does not require general anesthesia. Recovery is faster, and the results are typically smoother—key factors for patients exploring body contouring options in New York.
How many AirSculpt® treatments are needed per area?
Most areas require only one session, as the fat is permanently removed. Many New York City body contouring patients choose to treat multiple zones in a single visit to minimize total downtime.
How long is the downtime or recovery?
Most patients return to normal activities within 1–2 days. A compression garment is worn for about two weeks to minimize swelling and support shaping, ideal for those with active lifestyles in New York City.
How much does AirSculpt® cost?
Pricing depends on the area treated and how much fat is removed. Whether you’re planning a Brazilian butt lift in New York or a multi-zone mommy makeover, a personalized quote is provided during your consultation.
Can I use someone else’s fat for a fat transfer?
No. Only your own fat can be used for any transfer procedures. This is essential for those undergoing a BBL or mommy makeover in New York, as your body’s natural fat is harvested and transferred to other areas.
How long do I wear a compression garment after fat transfer?
Patients are advised to wear the garment continuously for the first 48 hours, then daily for two weeks. This helps control swelling and supports new contours, which is especially important for BBL patients.
What’s included in Full Abdominal AirSculpt®?
This includes the upper and lower abdomen, waist, and love handles, often selected by mommy makeover New York patients looking to restore their core after pregnancy.
Can I treat just one area?
Yes. You can choose to target a single area like your arms, chin, or thighs, or combine multiple regions for a comprehensive New York body contouring result.
Can I lose my double chin completely?
Many patients experience a full or dramatic reduction of the double chin. AirSculpt® is a precise, minimally invasive alternative to chin liposuction in New York, offering natural contouring with minimal downtime.
How bad is bruising after a chin procedure?
Most patients report mild to moderate bruising, which typically fades within one to two weeks. Aftercare guidance is provided to ensure a smooth recovery.
How long does a chin procedure take?
Chin AirSculpt® generally takes 20 to 40 minutes. It’s an efficient procedure for patients in New York City seeking quick, visible enhancement with minimal disruption to their schedule.
Do you treat areas above the chin (cheeks, eyelids, etc.)?
AirSculpt® fat removal focuses only on the submental (under-chin) area. AirSculpt Lift, our facial fat transfer treatment, can rejuvenate these areas except the eyelids.
What does Chin AirSculpt® feel like?
Most describe it as a gentle vibration, similar to an electric toothbrush. It’s a well-tolerated, non-sedated experience.
Can older adults get AirSculpt®?
Yes. AirSculpt® is commonly used by older New York City body sculpting patients to target sagging neck fat, loose arms, or post-menopausal abdominal fat without the risks of traditional surgery.
How long should I wait to get AirSculpt® after childbirth?
Patients should wait at least 3 months after vaginal delivery and 6 months after a C-section—particularly for mommy makeover New York procedures that involve abdominal work or fat transfer.
When should I stop breastfeeding before my procedure?
Breastfeeding may continue up to the day of the procedure, but must be paused afterward until your provider clears you to resume.
What part of the arms are treated with AirSculpt®?
The full upper arm—from the elbow to the armpit—is treated, including bra roll and underarm fat. This is a popular body contouring procedure in New York for a leaner, more sculpted appearance.
Is there enough fat in the arms for a transfer?
The arms may yield enough fat for small transfers (like to the hands), but usually not for a full Brazilian butt lift. This is assessed during your consultation.
How much fat can be removed from the arms?
This depends on your unique body composition and goals. During your New York body contouring consultation, your provider will determine how much fat can safely be removed.
Does AirSculpt® tighten skin?
Yes, skin is naturally tightened during fat removal. For patients with additional laxity, AirTite, a radio-frequency skin tightening treatment, can be added to enhance results.
How soon will I see results?
Results are visible immediately and continue to improve over the next 3 to 6 months, ideal for New York City body contouring patients preparing for major life events or seasonal wardrobe changes.
Can AirSculpt® fix previous liposuction procedures?
Yes. AirSculpt® can refine or correct previous lipo results, making it a popular choice for patients in New York City seeking revision or improved symmetry.

AirSculpt® is a patented, minimally invasive fat removal procedure that removes fat cell by cell through a tiny entry point without scalpels or stitches, also tightening the skin during treatment.
Is AirSculpt® an invasive procedure and what is the recovery time?

Am I a good candidate for AirSculpt® treatments?
If you are over 18 with stubborn fat unresponsive to diet and exercise, you are likely a good candidate for AirSculpt®, suitable for full mommy makeovers or targeted enhancements like Brazilian butt lifts.
