  Just got a glasses RX and was excited to get an idea of what I need for my first new pair of frames. Madelyn did an incredible job helping me pick out the right frames. Her attitude was fun and friendly and her advice was honest and direct. 12/10 service.

  Was there yesterday for a progressive eye exam & glasses. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. They created 3 kinds of prescriptions (reading, computing, progressive) and then offered me great frames and features. very friendly and efficient as well. Super impressed coming from Europe and having spent money on European brands. WB is great

  I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Warby Parker and won’t be coming back. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment and ended up waiting almost an hour, only to be told that I couldn’t be seen because my appointment had been booked as a re-exam instead of a full exam. This was especially frustrating because this was already my third visit after receiving an incorrect prescription, so it’s hard to understand why the appointment type suddenly became my responsibility. The explanation made even less sense when I was told the issue was that my appointment was booked for 15 minutes instead of 20 minutes. After making me wait nearly an hour, they couldn’t find an extra five minutes to see me. Instead, I was told the “best they could do” was rebook me for five hours later, as if that was doing me a favor. The front desk employee, Shay, came across as overly polite on the surface, but the interaction felt dismissive and patronizing. It was the kind of customer service where you’re smiling while effectively telling the customer, “Too bad.” I had taken time out of a busy workday, arrived on time, waiting for almost an hour and left without being seen because of what felt like an internal scheduling mistake. Overall, terrible customer service, poor communication, and zero respect for customers’ time. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

  After finding that my local Warby Parker had closed, I went to this store near Union Square. After having an exam at another optician, I learned I was a good candidate for Lasik surgery in the next year or so, but I did need to fill a new prescription. It was definitely time for a new look, and I wanted good looking, inexpensive glasses that would take me through the rest of the year until I make my final decision about the surgery. The staff at the Union Square location were extremely helpful. Once directed to the type of frames I was looking for, I was eft alone to make my selection. There was no pressure from the staff to go for more expensive options. Add-ons were explained to me but never pushed. Having heard a lot about Warby Parker, I had high hopes for my experience. I was NOT disappointed!!

  I recently went to the Warby Parker at 73 Fifth Avenue. The staff there is extremely helpful and ANT went above and beyond to explain everything to me and help me with all my decisions. Nowadays its very hard to get good customer service and he went above and beyond. He is an asset to the company.
