Amazing service and great prices. The only place I go to buy glasses. Super cool looking store. I never leave this place feeling like I over paid. The glasses are trending and fun and you can purchase several pairs at the price.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the eye exam at Warby Parker’s Upper East Side location with Dr. Melanie Fleyshmakher. My previous prescription had been stable for approximately five years. Although I had noticed my distance vision getting worse, I was given a prescription with lower corrective power and a new astigmatism correction that had never previously been part of my prescription. What concerned me most was the lack of communication during the exam. Dr. Fleyshmakher never reviewed my prescription with me, explained why significant changes were being made, discussed my vision concerns, or asked whether I had any questions. The appointment ended with me simply being told that my prescription had been sent downstairs and that I could order my glasses. While placing my order downstairs after finally seeing my prescription, I raised concerns with three different employees because the prescription seemed significantly different and less powerful from my previous one. I specifically asked to speak with the doctor before purchasing my glasses, but I was repeatedly told she was unavailable. After receiving my glasses, my distance vision was noticeably worse. Reading road signs and license plates while driving became more difficult due to increased blur. To Warby Parker’s credit, customer service acknowledged that my exam experience fell short of the level of care and communication I should have received and escalated my complaint to leadership for review. However, despite acknowledging these shortcomings, I have spent weeks waiting for a refund resolution without a decision, even as I’ve been following up once a week for the last 30 days. I have purchased glasses from Warby Parker before and expected a professional eye care experience. Unfortunately, this experience has left me without confidence in the examination process at this location.

The Lexington Ave store in the UES has a wide selection of frames - colors, sizes and styles. My RX limits the size of the lense that I can wear, so having lots of frames to choose in multiple colors is a big win for me. Ashely, the Sales Rep, provided excellent service. I bought one pair and most likely will go back for a second - in a different style or color.

My onsite experience at all four locations in my area has been fantastic, with sales, tech and medicsl staff. However I have had repeated problems with the error-prone appointment process, both which goes through the Philippines.
