  I went to this gym before with a family member, who keep in mind had to drive all the way down from Westchester. We made free day passes as advertised on their website for their location UFC gym Long Island, which can’t be confused with any other locations as it is the only UFC gym on Long Island. We arrive at the gym and are told that a day pass is $25 each and their location does not do free day passes which is confusing as it as advertised on their website for their location. There have also been multiple instances after this incident where I am out in the town nearby ufc gym, for example going to chipotle and there are ufc employees advertising a MONTH free trial, but before they didn’t do for a day. Which one is it? Are trials done or are they not? Or do you pick and choose who you scam and lie to? And when I told these employees that I was denied the pass before they were kind of rude and dismissive. But I don’t blame them when management behaves similarly. When I contacted the assistant GM named Imdad, who kept sending me messages to come have a tour and sign up for a membership after I used my phone number to sign up for the free day pass that I was denied, he was kind of rude as well. I guess they try and use a flimsy “subject to availability” clause but when the day pass is advertised and then registered for their specific location that doesn’t really make sense. And this isn’t even about the gym itself. I don’t even want to get started on that.

  Been giving them time to resolve issues but since they wont its okay . July 15th 2026 i was a victim of racism and discrimination at this location . UPON letting a non member barge into the club and harass me upon another altercation that occurred . In these events i was threatened and almost assaulted by this non member . Members of the management team witnessed this and its all on camera yet they want to say i am the aggressor . Riddle me how a NON MEMBER can storm into a club and harass a MEMBER but then i am painted as the aggressor?? Kind of like jumping into the tiger enclosure and the tiger gets shot right ? Make it make sense . The management including Rich and Tony are not men of honor or authority . Constantly bragging about signing up members but do nothing to ensure a safe and reliable workout space . Been a member at this club for 6 years and they are still charging me but not allowing me into the club . Ok . 0 / 10 would recommend in the future and nothing about this gym is worth mentioning .

  Good price, friendly-ish staff but I’m never going to give more than 1 star to a gym that plays with your money. I called twice to cancel because I was moving. I tried canceling on the app but it wouldn’t let me- foreshadowing much. Two different employees confirmed that my membership will not renew and is in fact cancelled. Guess what? I was charged again and am scheduled to be charged the month after as well. Definitely not cancelled. Guys it’s not that hard. Make it easy to sign up. Make it easy to cancel. It won’t leave a bad taste in member’s mouths and they will be more likely to come back. 0 stars if I could. If you don’t care about getting played with your money, here are some things about the gym- Gym is small for its size. Price is good for what you get. You will be waiting 15 minutes minimum anywhere 1-2 hours before and after peak times for certain machines, benchs, and crash platforms. For the members, most display proper gym etiquette and I’ve never had any issues with, or seen instances of passive aggressiveness, rude behavior amongst gym members/staff, etc. Men’s locker room is decently clean, most of the time. Never used the shower or sauna so no comment. Parking can be a struggle during peak hours but I’ve never had to wait more than 3-5 minutes to get a spot. There are literally two 25lb metal plates so if you have OCD about mixing your stack then good luck. There are a plethora of 25lb bumpers so I recommend using those instead.

  I accidentally left my weight vest in the locker on the morning of July 24th running a bit behind time for work. My friend got to the gym shortly after I left and put the vest in the lost and found for me which was accepted at the front desk by a UFC gym member. She advised the boy at the front desk that I would come pick it up the very next morning. When I showed up to pick up my vest the next morning as told, there was no weight vest behind the counter. I ask the manager TONY about it and he says to me “this is not a drop off service”. I asked another manager who let me know that the video was played back and that it was “misplaced”. I was told to follow back up with RICH to see the outcome of this situation. I let the manager who texted me know that I will be able to meet that following week Thursday and to pass the message. I showed up on Thursday July 30th to meet with rich. When I showed up I said “hi I’m Vanessa with the missing weight vest.” he gave me a blank stare as he shook my hand. (As if he was thinking of what to say). He then says to me - “THE JANITOR THREW IT OUT” and that “if it’s been a certain amount of time things get thrown out” … I replied “but it was not even 24 hours that the vest was at the front desk”. His response was “you shouldn’t have left it here”. (How does someone throw out something that is 25pounds in a target bag without checking?) So I tried to reason with him, since my membership is $29 a month, I asked if he could give me 3 months free to make up for my item that was accepted by the person at the front desk and placed in the lost and found and then “thrown out” by the janitor. Rich refused to honor that request and offered me a free training session with Jude instead which costs way more than my three months membership in total. I refused the training session because that’s not what I asked for. About 25 minutes later, Jude showed back up to the gym after already leaving his shift, offered me the three months free which I appreciated so much, but by that time, I was already disgusted by the way I was treated and spoken to prior. My grandma who passed away bought me that weight vest. My weight vest held sentimental value which, I’ll never get back. The staff at ufc gym did not show any sympathy at all, instead they were getting upset with me and giving me attitude for something that belonged to me, and was mishandled by their staff. I trusted the staff and they let me down completely. I’m a very familiar face at this gym, been going here for a few years so it’s definitely disheartening, disappointing and disgusting how they dealt with the situation and how I was spoken to. Im not one to write reviews, I read them, but this definitely needed a review.

  Since my rebirth to get back into fitness, health and to put my physic challenges to rest once and for all even with no cartilage in either of my knees I was compelled to go BACK TO FITNESS HOME with UFC GYM Long Island. My Independence Day was Friday, July 3, 2026 @ 6:00pm with Coach Zachary Martin who's been such a motivation in taking me past myself and through this therapy though nothing is predictable, just the focus & form he continues to encourage me on through these sessions, all I can say it the results have been rapidly showing. I came in limping and gimping and now I'm able to stand straight up even though I still have to have surgery, I'm in a much better place physically than I have been since 1983. NOW I have the honor and nobility of being instructed by Brazilian Jui-Jitsu Coach Kevin Baracaldo (hope I spelled it correct) in an art I'm totally unfamiliar with. I obtained my Korean Tae Kwon Do Black Belt in the early 90's with Master S. Henry Cho of NYC and haven't had an encounter of training as such since I came back to my UFC GYM LONG ISLAND HOME. Since my second class with Coach Kevin, he's been training me with care, concern and passion for this art to ensure my pace is climbing (especially the rolls and bear walks) that is taking me completely out of my comfort zone. And just to add some history with Kevin, I enrolled my Grandson in August 2018 in the Little Grapplers and Coach Kevin was the Coach back then and now to have me as a student 8 years later, we're just keeping it in the family. Coach Kevin even psychologically assisted in bringing understanding and clarity of some things I should come up in with my health and I took his expertise and ran with it. The results of his coaching are going to continue to come in. It's just phenomenal. The investment that these two humanitarians Coach Zachary & Coach Kevin has provoked me to take it even further after my sessions with them. My wife and I are continually grateful for all the fitness encouragement, expertise, knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Tony, Richie, Andre, Brian (My wife will soon be enrolling for her training) and Diana, we appreciate your business mindset, direction, kindheartedness and understanding you provide giving us the best direction as we progress back to health.
