I absolutely love the workouts at Club Pilates Massapequa! I’ve been a member since February of this year, and I wanted to wait before writing a review so I could provide an honest, well-considered perspective. From the moment you walk in, the studio is spotlessly clean, the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the location is convenient with ample parking. The reformer classes—especially Center and Balance—are fantastic, engaging, and scalable for all fitness levels.
Booking classes through the app is effortless and incredibly convenient. With a busy schedule, the flexibility to easily reserve, adjust, and manage classes makes it much easier to stay consistent with my fitness goals. The timely reminders have saved me from missing a class (and losing a credit) more than once. As a member of Orangetheory Fitness, SpinSanity (indoor cycling), and Jazzercise, I take fitness seriously and am selective about where I invest my time and resources. I’m a real person, and as an accountant, I sit for 10–12 hours a day with very little movement throughout my workday, which makes prioritizing my health and mobility especially important.
Before joining Club Pilates, I had never taken a reformer-based Pilates class, but after my Intro class, I was hooked. Now it is easily my preferred style over traditional mat Pilates. While I’ve taken Reformer Flow 1, I most often attend the Center + Balance 1 classes on Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM. I’ve also had the pleasure of attending the Sunday afternoon class at 12:30 PM after church, which is a great way to start the week.
Regardless of the day or instructor, the team is consistently patient, supportive, and attentive. Their strong emphasis on proper form and safety helps us members achieve great results while fostering an encouraging environment where you never feel intimidated. They truly deliver on their promise that “stretching never felt this good.” I genuinely enjoy every class and always leave feeling stronger, renewed, and more centered.
A special shout-out to Liana—her playlists are always on point and such a vibe! One piece of advice: book your classes early, as they tend to fill up quickly. Also, don’t hesitate to join the waitlist—I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how often I’ve received advance notice and secured a spot in a class. While Club Pilates comes with a premium price tag and a strict membership cancellation policy, the physical benefits, encouraging community, and welcoming staff make every 5-star workout entirely worth it.
Our health is a foundational right, but our wellness is a privilege. Showing up on the reformer to build my strength and longevity is a privilege I do not take for granted. For me, this investment has been one of the best decisions I could have made for both my mind and body. If you’re considering Pilates or looking for a fitness routine that improves strength, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being, I highly recommend joining Club Pilates—especially the Massapequa location. The welcoming community, exceptional instructors, and consistently positive experience have made it a place I genuinely look forward to visiting each week. It has been a rewarding investment in my health, and I’m grateful I decided to take that first Intro class.
