Asked my trusted dentist where he takes his children and he told me ' Where Smiles Grow, thats where all the local dentists take their children'. That tells you all you need to know. We switched to Where Smiles Grow a year ago and could not be happier. We visit Dr. Jen and she has been wonderful. Excellent chair-side manner, relates well with children and thoughtfully answers all my questions. The hygienists and other helpers have also been kind. Switch now and thank me later. Five star recommendation for Where Smiles Grow.
- BPBrittney PobranJun 11, 20262.0I recently brought my son here for a cavity. The assistant who took my son’s X-rays was amazing and incredibly sweet with my son. Dr. Taylor was “nice” too, but I honestly felt very scammed. I was told my son had 8 cavities and it was suggested to put my son under anesthesia at the hospital to get various crowns and fillings. I was vey uneasy with this and just happened to talk about it with my month old daughter’s (born tongue tied) speech pathologist who immediately was on high alert that my son may too be tongue tied and can’t clear his teeth after meals. I proceeded to tell her I will bring him in for an evaluation but I specifically asked Dr. Taylor and was told he wasn’t. Well what do you know, he was and got an immediate frenectomy at a pediatric dentist in Albany. Not only did this dentist recognize and release the tongue tie, but also corrected all cavities with a laser (no crowns needed) in under one hour without any anesthesia. I find it to be a shame what greed is willing to do to our children. The only reason why I gave this place two stars was the assistant and how child friendly this place “looked”, but then again - probably able to buy all this kid friendly stuff because they are doing unnecessary work on children.
