  !!!!!PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE YOU ADMIT YOUR LOVE ONE TO THIS FACILITY!!!!! My mother is 96 years old and I believe the medical staff is running tests, lying, coming up with reasons to keep her here just to increase t payments to their pockets. Meanwhile she sits in her room, she is given cold food to eat, they have not taken her outside or to any activities. She developed sores on both of her heals. They are using her just to run test and line their pockets with Medicare payments all while totally ignoring her day to day care. My mother has been in a wheelchair, unable to walk for 5 years yet they tell me they are giving her physical therapy 10-20 minutes a day to help her walk or to be able to transfer, medically her muscles are too weak at this point, she has gained almost 80 pounds since she has stopped walking yet I’m told that physical therapy should help her walk, who are they fooling. No one is held accountable for what they are doing to her. They will not release her because she is old and they can dupe medicare for trumped up assessments. Everything they are doing to my mother, the mis-treatment, trumped up assessments, cold food, neglect will be how they will be treated when they are old, but WORSE!!!’n

  The facility is very clean, and the staff is very welcoming. There are also great physical and occupational therapists who are patient and helpful during residents’ recoveries.

  I have been visiting the center for a year and a half and have enjoyed my visits. There is a community room where people can visit with family and friends. You can make alot of new friends that are there for the same reasons you are. You do as they say you get better faster and get to leave. The residents and staff there are rooting for you to get better. The residents push each other and the staff is top notch one of the best Rehabilitation centers around. I know it's not your ideal situation but don't pout be receptive have an i can do it attitude and do what they tell you, make some friends and make the best of the situation don't fight them they want to see you get better and so they're not picking on you they are pushing for you to do your best so you can get out.
