- EEed6 days ago1.0Over charged for services not asked for and not covered by Medicare. On the day of service I was told there would be a $40 copay but then got billed for more. We get eye exams every year and our insurance has always covered it in full. All that I asked for was a new prescription that was always covered in the past. They claimed that they were out of network and did not have to agree to the amount that our insurance covered. Our insurance covers in or out of network in full. With the prescription that they gave me I cannot focus close enough to read.

Was told they are to busy to do that right now. Same issue as last visit. Left very confused and frustrated. Do not recommend as the eye dr cannot do contact prescriptions for some reason I guess. Plan on atleast 2 seperate appointment dates to complete this locations procedures.

To say that I am very pleased is an understatement from the Receptionist to the assistant and doctor as well words cannot describe how comfortable I felt. I was very nervous at first, but as soon as I enter the building, I became very relaxed. The demeanor, professionalism and all-around feel of the staff at the eyecare center in Geneva was absolutely astounding.. Kudos to everyone who made this process, feel like it was nothing at all. I highly recommend if you need anything with your eye care.

I have Medicare and very good supplemental insurance provided by my late husband's employment at Raytheon. I had cataracts removed in both eyes followed by laser surgery in both eyes years ago. I recently moved to Geneva and am experiencing blurry vision in one eye. I was not refused by a doctor. I was refused by the receptionist who hung up on me. Is this even possible?
