Terrible customer service and quality. Paid for warranty and when I had to change my glasses the frame was out of stock. Nobody called to let me know what it was out of stock (I waited over a week), I had to call and ask for an update. They had me come in to pick a new pair. I paid a service fee and the price difference which came out to $50. The sales associate said that I have another year of warranty on this new pair. The new pair was terrible quality. It kept on loosening on the side and the back. Went to get them adjusted very often and then I decided to get them replaced. They said that my warranty expired although a year hadn’t passed. Apparently the warranty was from original date of purchase, but that wasn’t what I was told. The sale associate said they would see what they can do and would give me a call the next day but it was almost closing time and still no call. I ended up calling them and was informed that they couldn’t do anything. Didn’t offer any assistance or apology for not reaching out like they said. Needless to say if you do not stay on top of them to fix issues they will not do it by themselves.
PS: if you do buy from them, never pay full price just wait for their sales.

Highly recommended! Everyone was super helpful. From when I entered the store, got examined, shopped for glasses, and left the store. The whole experience was very pleasant. If you're looking for new frames or lenses, this place is definitely worth checking out!

I went to the Lenscrafters in Austin Street, NYC. I made an appointment online for the eye doctor so I can get a prescription for new eyeglasses. The place was clean and well lit. They had a huge selection of designer frames. There was very little wait time. The eye doctor was very cordial and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions. The young lady(L) who helped choose my frames and performed some of eye health tests was also very pleasant and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back there for additional eyewear in the future.

Amazing Customer Service. Optometrist was very thorough and well versed.. The staff was very knowledgeable and patient while I tried different frames. I highly recommend this store to everyone in need of an eye exam and new glasses. You won’t be disappointed .
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
