My name is Elizabeth, I got sick with c-diff like 21/2 wks ago. I would not wish this illness upon anyone. I spend 4 days at a hospital then I was good to go home but, I just couldn’t be around anyone because -diff if very contagious. So the hospital thought it was a good idea for me to come to Long Island care center until I was no longer contagious and I continued taking my meds. Well I must say I stood here about two weeks and the time that I was here it has been so pleasant every and I mean every single staff that attended me were extremely friendly always asking me if I was ok and if I needed anything with a smile on their faces. Although I was starting to get used to every one it is finally time for me to hit the road again. But , i would truly without a second thought I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I’m really grateful to all the staff for their hospitality and great care they give me . God bless them all 🙏 if I had to go through this again hopefully not I would not hesitate to come back here 👍👍🙏

LICC is a gem when it comes to patient care. It’s not often when you run into a nursing home where you feel like the workers genuinely care about their work, their craft, and their patients. It almost feels as if they’re working for their own family members at times, and that I find delightful.
