- RSRobert ShieldsApr 3, 20231.0I've had nothing but issues with this particular hannaford pharmacy since i transferred my meds over there. *Update* Gave them another chance, and they did it yet again. This time it was a finger pointing game ("it wasnt us, its your neurologist/it wasnt us its the pharmacy). Turned out it wasnt my neurologist...This is the third time this situation has happened. Also, had an issue where I didnt have any refills left (even tho it said so on my bottle and i even had a text saying i had a refill ready). I ended up having a couple days worth of my epilepsy meds and it was a friday. I called to see why, and if could at least get some of my meds till i get a hold of my neurologist for a prescription. The woman on the phone(sounded really young so probably inexperienced) had such an attitude and kept saying it was out of her hands and she would need a prescription. I have had pharmacies in the past that would give me a supply until the prescription came in. So, idk what the deal was. I was able to speak to the pharmacist and she was equally confused and told me that they could have done that. These are epileptic meds! You do not mess around with them, otherwise I could have seizures again. I even explained this to the young girl on the phone but all she said, in a plain, robotic voice "i UnDeRsTaNd ThAt SiR. bUt We NeEd A pReScRiPtIon..." 🙄🤦 I am done with this place and i have had nothing but problems with them since i transferred my meds to their pharmacy 6 months ago. I now go to Walgreens. I wouldnt recommend this pharmacy at all. Go to walgreens or another hannaford. The one in Guilderland is great. Wouldve stayed with them but I moved.
