Staffed 24/7 by licensed physicians, the department offers expert emergency services close to home. Designed to meet growing demand and enhance safety and comfort, the facility features a spacious waiting area, larger acute patient rooms with surge capacity, dedicated triage rooms, advanced trauma technology, an upgraded decontamination room, improved lighting and security, and an adjacent helipad for critical transfers. It also houses the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), offering private, safe emergency psychiatric care.
