  I’m extremely disappointed with how my visit ended today. I originally came in for an eye exam without an appointment, and the woman who helped me was very nice and went out of her way to get me an appointment for later that afternoon. I came back, completed my exam, and honestly had a good experience with the doctor and the other staff members up until checkout. Before the exam, I had discussed my insurance and was told that my copay for the exam would be $10. While speaking with the doctor, I mentioned that I was having discomfort with my current brand of contacts. She offered me a trial pair to try, which I appreciated. At no point was I told that trying those contacts would involve an additional contact lens fitting fee or that I would be responsible for close to $100 instead of the $10 copay I had been told about. When I got to checkout and saw the unexpected charge, I simply questioned why the price was so much higher than what had been discussed. The associate helping me at the end was already unpleasant, but her attitude became even worse when I questioned the charge. Instead of calmly explaining the situation or acknowledging that the additional fee had never been explained to me, she made me remove the trial contacts. I ended up paying the original $10 copay and leaving. I understand that contact lens fittings may have a separate fee. My issue is that NO ONE informed me of that fee beforehand or gave me the opportunity to decide whether I wanted to proceed knowing the additional cost. You cannot tell a customer their visit will cost one amount, provide an additional service without explaining there is a significant charge attached to it, and then become rude when they question the unexpected bill. It’s unfortunate because the doctor was great and the beginning of my experience was actually very pleasant. The way I was treated at the end completely changed my impression of this location. Better communication about fees and more respectful customer service could have prevented the entire situation.

  Great customer service. Toya was exceptional! Dr. Athis was great as always! Ordered some new glasses. Looking forward to getting them.

  Manager and sales associates were extremely passive aggressive throughout my whole time in the store. One associate told us one piece of information that was different from another associate, that was different from the manager. The customer service was atrocious and not a single employee appeared happy to be working there. I will not be coming here again.

  I like the rate your experience thing it’s really fun 10/10 would recommend idk nothing about the place but I like the thingy ( in attached photo)
