  I have to start with, I am not a fan of telemed at all after several failed eye exams through another eye care place, EV. They have never gotten my prescription right. A friend convinced my to try Sterling in Camillus after EV in syracuse wiped out my insurance... again... for another two years and the prescription was still not right. I am so happy I did. The owner Tanya and her two assistants, Alex and Jordan, were so thorough before we even got to the telemed, I was hugely impressed! The doctor was great and also thorough. They have changed my mind about telemed. They are a professional team that really cares and it shows. I now have glasses i can see out of and amazing contacts too! Thank you all! You're the best!

  Wow....great experience. Jordan was so helpful. Appreciated her honesty in choosing a frame with her honest opinions. Explained the insurance options and I felt like I got a quality, goodlooking product at a very fair price.

  I took my daughter here to get her eyes checked yesterday and the service was phenomenal. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and fast. My daughter has really bad anxiety and was relieved how smoothly it went. The technician, Alex, walked my daughter through the eye imaging process super smoothly. After the zoom call exam with the doctor we looked at frames and Alex showed us a whole section that our insurance would take. They didn’t try to rush me through or upsell me. Of course my daughter wanted a pair that Fidelis didn’t take, so Alex had her also pick a pair that was accepted so we would get 40% off the pair she wanted (and also have a back up pair.) Small places like this are way better than chains like Empire Vision whom we saw last month and basically stopped contacting us because my daughter needed to see a specialist. I am so glad I decided to get a 2nd opinion!
