The Department of Radiation Oncology is dedicated to being the Capital District leader in state-of-the-art technology and treatment methods for both adults and pediatrics. When you come to our department, you will be lead by a team that specializes in cancer care. Our board certified Physicians, Physicists, and Dosimetrists work side by side to develop the most effective forms of treatment to minimize side effects. Once the treatment course has been approved our Radiation Therapists along with the Radiation Oncology Certified Nurses will guide you through your whole course of treatment under Physician guidance.
