Student Outreach Clinic

The Student Outreach Clinicpen is open theee days a month, two Saturday mornings and one Tuesday evening. Check the calendar for the next clinic date. We offer free medical attention on a variety of health topics to the uninsured or underinsured community in Northern Nevada. Medical students gain hands-on experience under the direct supervision of licensed physicians to provide access to healthcare to individuals who would otherwise go without. Data show that 23% of Washoe County residents were uninsured in 2015 and 17,392 children went without health insurance. It is the goal of the clinic to reach this population and provide them with the medical attention they need to improve healthcare in the region and throughout Nevada.
