Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

They said my medication was filled somewhere else 8 days ago. It was not. They had no empathy and were very rude. As it turns out, last month when I asked them to transfer a prescription of mine they don’t carry to another pharmacy, they transferred another one of my medications that I had not asked them to transfer. Wound up driving to 2 other pharmacies due to their error.

Sent my prescription to this pharmacy because I moved to the area. I'll drive the extra 30 min to pick up my medications somewhere else. I can't remember their name, but one had red hair and the other was blonde. Came in on several occasions and dealt with other staff there who were perfectly fine but these two. Let me just say if you don't like your job then find another. I dropped off my prescription with a young gentlemen who said it should be ready in 15mim. Came back to deal with the older blonde. Rudely says my meds aren't ready. That's it's? Why isn't it ready? " it's just not ready?" Why isn't it ready when the guy said it would be? How long til it's ready? "Idk your insurance isn't covering it, next time call." I had to chuckle. I tell her, I'll call my insurance to see what's going on. "Well, we will call you when it's ready?" I'm thinking no you will not. "How is it going to be ready if my insurance isn't covering it?" Then she tells me "well your doctor has to prescribe you meds that your insurance covers." Hah! That's a first! I've had cancer and chrohns for 4 years and he's prescribed me the same meds for almost 2 out of that 4 and yet your the first pharmacy and pharmacist to tell me this! I walk away call my doctors assistant and she laughs and says she will call and take care of it. My nurse calls in 30 min to let me know that smiths pharmacy system is down and isn't able to run my insurance. WOW! So one this pharmacist lied and 2 she proceeded to still lie and blame other things besides their own system. Like the truth would have been a whole lot better. Third time, I call and deal with Sherri I believe, such a nice lady and she said the same thing my nurse said. The system is still not working. Sherri calls me by the 3rd day and says to just come in and she will over run the system because it is their fault. Oh, the blonde told me to pay the $300 for my meds out of pocket and when they can run my insurance they can refund me. I really wanted to say "f*** you!" Sherri you were wonderful. So that was just 2 of my medications. I had to go back for 2 more after I was done taking these. I go back and deal with the red head. She tells me the same thing the blonde said. That my insurance isn't covering. I had an attitude with her and said, is this the antibiotics? She's like yeah, well I already got those and the other pharmacist gave it to me for what my insurance covers it at because it's your system that isn't working. Quick her attitude changed. Oh well let me look. She pretends to look. Oh yea I see that your picking up your follow up meds. We have to run those and it should be ready. I ask how long. Give us a couple of hours and give us a call. Okay. " we just have to get the prescription filled and it'll be like the last time." Yea now you want to be nice. She has another pharmacist call me in 30 min to tell me they don't carry one of my medications no longer and that my doctor needs to prescribe me something else. Not even going to go through the steps again, but called my doctor and got my other amd future medications sent to my old pharmacy. Such horrible service when you go to school to help sick people. Whether it's the every day flu or someone who has an illness, you're supposed to be caring and if not that at least HELPFUL TO THE POINT OF JUST DOING YOUR JOB! VERY SAD and these 2 woman should be ashamed of themselves.
