The wait is absolutely ridiculous. A copay should be refunded at some point of having to wait that long. 3+ hours after my scheduled appointment time is outrageous. And I was early to my appointment. Going to the doctor’s office should not be an all day event.

Dr. Mark Kabins is an outstanding neurosurgeon. After my work injury, he took the time to explain my condition and treatment options clearly and never made me feel rushed. I underwent two back surgeries under his care, and throughout the process he was professional, compassionate, and honest about my recovery.
Even when I continued to have significant pain, Dr. Kabins didn’t give up on finding additional treatment options. He continued to monitor my condition and recommended the next appropriate steps, including pain management and evaluation for a spinal cord stimulator. I always felt that he listened to my concerns and wanted the best possible outcome for me.
His office staff has also been helpful and professional, making appointments and follow-up care as smooth as possible.
I appreciate Dr. Kabins’ dedication and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, skilled, and caring spine surgeon.

To anyone reading this who is struggling to manage pain or has a complex spine issue, DON’T GIVE UP HOPE! Dr. Kabins spent at least 30 minutes with me on my first appointment and went through every possible scenario of what could be causing my constant radiculopathy and progressive weakness and to the point of thinking outside the box.I still remember him saying at the beginning of our first visit together “I have more questions than answers right now”. Well, he took the time to treat me with dignity and found all of the answers and more. After a long and complicated surgery, he’s restored hope in my future. I’m relatively young with children and am well on the way to becoming active again.Dr. Kabins cares and I promise you will feel that as his patient. I wish I could give more stars.
Also, the office staff and surgical team are top notch!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mark Kabins for my back issues, and this was my second visit. He recommended physical therapy, and the place he suggested took excellent care of me—I just finished those sessions. I’m not fully recovered yet and still have quite a bit of pain along with limited mobility, but I’m starting to notice small improvements little by little. Dr. Kabins is very thorough, takes the time to listen to my concerns, and explains everything clearly without rushing. He’s focused on a thoughtful treatment plan to help me improve over time.
What really stands out is how fantastic the entire team is. The front desk staff are awesome—always friendly, welcoming, and super efficient whenever I call or come in. They make scheduling and handling paperwork feel effortless and go out of their way to help. The whole staff at Las Vegas Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation interacts with such warmth and professionalism that every visit feels supportive and stress-free. Dr. Kabins’ calm and caring bedside manner complements the team perfectly, making the whole experience much more manageable.
I’m hopeful that with continued care we’ll keep making progress toward better function and pain relief. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable back doctor or spine specialist in Las Vegas who truly cares about his patients’ long-term results, along with a team that makes you feel valued, I highly recommend Dr. Kabins and his staff. Recovery takes patience, but the care and interactions I’m receiving are excellent
