  I went into Eyemart Express planning to buy the two-for-$40 frames on sale. Anthony came over and introduced himself. We talked about the strength of shortening Anthony to Tony—and the strange backward capacity of the name. I think he learned something in that moment. He started showing me other frames and talking about how handsome they made me. Well, I was already handsome; the frames just matched my pre-existing sexy demeanor. Then, in the middle of helping me, Anthony heard a scream from across the street. He gently set the frames down on the table and said, “Excuse me a moment. Somebody needs an Anthony.” I went with him because, again, Tony is just Anthony with fewer letters. Across the street, we found a building on fire. A woman was in hysterics, screaming, “My puppy! My puppy!” Anthony took off his jacket and said, “Hold this.” I said, “No, Anthony. I’m a safety professional. I can’t let you put yourself in danger. We might have to pull two bodies out of that burning building: a puppy and an Anthony.” He looked at me and said, “Well, then I guess I’ll see you in hell.” I said, “Well, what’s Tony backward?” I watched that brave man run into the fire. A few minutes later, he came back out coughing and covered in soot, carrying the animal he’d rescued. Turns out it wasn’t the puppy. The puppy was over at the neighbor’s house. He put the animal down, and it was immediately carried off by an eagle for sustenance. Still heroic. Then, right there in the yard, Anthony heard a cat falling from a tree. He Superman-dived and caught it. Just then, he heard a bell coming up the sidewalk: a little girl riding her bike for the first time without training wheels was careening straight toward Anthony and the kitty kat. Anthony didn’t want to ruin the moment, so he army-rolled out of the way and yelled, “Don’t forget to brush and floss twice a day!” at the little girl. She flipped him off as she rode away, but maybe in her language, that’s how they say thank you? Anthony got the cat and himself up off the ground, then put the kitty cat down. We watched as an eagle promptly picked it up for sustenance and flew off with it. Then we went back to Eyemart Express, where Anthony sold me $540 in frames and lenses after I’d come in for two frames for $40. And I was happy to do it. Whatever you’re paying Anthony, it needs to be sextupled.

  Frames are discontinued after buying and getting insurance that I can't even use. They call back saying now they are frame for my glass after telling me they couldn't do anything.

  Anthony G was the best at helping out, I have been getting my glasses from here whenever I need a new pair of glasses or sun glasses…but as always I will be coming back again for sure

  We went to Eye Mart because they accepted our insurance. Basically they have a great selection of glasses at competitive prices. I started with an eye exam… the staff are very nice; however, the optometrist really didn’t seem to care and had terrible “ bed side manners”, I get a much better response from my dogs. I took my prescription next door to the selection of glasses and picked out a pair of Earnest Himmingway’ frames, took them to a technician to be fitted. Surprisingly, in about 4 days my new glasses arrived. I took them home, without being fitted snd realized I couldn’t read my music tablet. The next morning, I returned to Eye Mart. This time I spoke with a different technician that actually did quite well, was professional. He realized that I was measured wrong and measured me correctly. Less than a week later, my new glasses were in. Again, I couldn’t read… the tech determined that it had to be the fault of the optometrist. Second eye test… again not a friendly optometrist ( actually the same one). Returned to the showroom with the revised prescription. Less than a week later I returned to receive my new glasses. So… left eye crystal clear right eye blurry. With my old glasses I can see very clearly, except slight double vision in my right eye. Eye Mart cannot seem to get it right. They cannot even fit the incorrect glasses to my face. So… if you need glasses, my suggestion to you is to find someplace that actually knows what the hell they’re doing. I really think they need to reimburse me for all my financial outs. I definitely will never do business with them again. By the way, Anthony was the only person there that was worth his weight.

  I've been here a few times for different eyeglass needs and worked with different staff. The wait times are usually insane, even for small things like getting frames adjusted which usually only takes a few minutes. Staff is generally friendly and helpful, especially when you're going to buy from them. On the other hand, whenever I've called I've gotten terrible customer services and short, curt responses. I called today to ask for an insurance check and the girl rudely said that they don't do insurance checks over the phone (even when the website says to call and ask) and that I'd have to come in person. Before I could even respond she hung up the phone. Not a fan.
