- SGSteve G3 days ago1.0Aug 31 2026. I work in the oilfield and drove 1.5 hrs to Carlsbad to buy some insulin syringes for a coworker who traveled in from Pennsylvania. It was after 5 pm and CVS across the street said that they were sold out and directed me to Albertsons across the street. The older male pharmacist there refused to sell them to me bc he said it was Albertsons policy to have a prescription and I be a customer there. He told me told me yo go to Walgreens that they close at 7. When I got to Walgreens, i found out that they actually closed at 6. So, I went back out to location without syringes. Hrs after my return my coworker almost died. We were getting ready to take him to the Carlsbad hospital when some trucker on location had some syringes. This morning Sept. 1, 2026 I returned to CVS and the syringes were back in stock and they sold me a bag of 10 without giving me any hassle. The pharmacist at Albertson's pharmacy you suck!

- CPCarrie PrzeslakMay 5, 20264.0Their great service always comes with a smile. My only complaint is that when they’re understaffed, they close the drivethru instead of the in-store window. Why is that? If you’d close the inside window and open the drivethru instead, your elderly and handicapped customers won’t have to walk all the way in to the pharmacy AND wait in line for up to 30 minutes. Just a suggestion.
- BZBrad ZachariasMar 22, 20263.0Used to be a great place to get your meds quality of service is going down. It’s gotten worse since they got the new building. I think the place falls apart when Tom is not there and now that Carol has retired those two have been very personal they would always check and see if I had any refills that needed to be done because they know I travel almost an hour to come get my meds and they don’t want me to have to come back the next day or a couple days later.
