On the day of the surgery, I was charged the total amount due, minus $139.00. And left with that, no mention about any kind of insurance estimate or patient estimate. Pretty much, just charging me the full amount, and sorting it out later. Never encountered anything like that before, usually when I have needed a procedure, that involves health insurance, it is estimated and ready to go by the time my appointment is over with. This was not estimated at all. Now it is 3 months later, and still have not received a refund that I am owed. Their accounting dept. is not at all good at what they do. It is a shame that it is taking so long for them to make things right. Especially when they already know how much they owe to me in a refund. This situation is bad for business, and I will never again go there. Update: Refunded to me what was owed on a Credit Card..
