Conveniently located and easy to find with plenty of parking, this studio has some real positives. It is clean, well maintained, and offers a wide range of time slots throughout the day. For those nearby, the location alone is a big draw.
However, the experience leaves a lot to be desired. Despite having an unlimited membership, booking classes is a constant struggle. Classes fill up fast and with too many members enrolled per session, securing a spot feels more like a race than a perk of your membership.
Instructor consistency is a significant issue. For Level 1.5 classes, the difficulty varies wildly. Some sessions are extremely easy while others feel far too advanced, making it hard to know what you are signing up for. The class descriptions are not an accurate reflection of what is actually taught, which is frustrating for members trying to plan appropriately.
Overcrowding also affects the quality of instruction. With so many participants, instructors simply do not have the bandwidth to give individual attention, which is especially concerning for members with injuries. Some classes also spend a notable portion of time, up to 15 minutes, on mat work rather than the reformer, which is not ideal when you are paying for a reformer based class.
Most troublingly, one instructor told me directly never to take their class again, a deeply unprofessional interaction that management should be aware of. Unfortunately, bringing concerns to management is its own challenge. The general manager is difficult to reach, hides behind email, and shows little willingness to actually discuss or address member concerns in a meaningful way.
The studio has potential, but until membership numbers are better managed, instructor quality becomes more consistent, and leadership takes member feedback seriously, it falls short of what it charges.
