I visited the Princeton store today because I wanted to add another pair of glasses to my collection. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. During the approximately 15 minutes I spent in the store, no one greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. While I was browsing, a couple entered the store and were immediately greeted and helped by an associate.I noticed there were four associates in the store at the time. Two were assisting customers, but the other two appeared available and did not acknowledge me. As a customer, this made me feel overlooked and unwelcome.
The experience left me wondering whether I was being treated differently than other customers. While I cannot know the reason, the lack of acknowledgment compared to the service provided to others made me feel uncomfortable and disappointed. I hope this feedback can be used to ensure that every customer is greeted and offered assistance equally and respectfully.

My sales rep was excellent. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for and not pushing the more expensive eye frames on me.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at LensCrafters thanks to Assistant Manager Jaymi S. From the moment we walked in, Jaymi went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable. Her knowledge and professionalism were outstanding. She took the time to thoroughly explain every option, answer all of our questions, and make sure we felt confident in every decision.
What truly stood out was her patience and efficiency. Even while balancing a busy environment, Jaymi never made us feel rushed and handled everything quickly and seamlessly. She was incredibly helpful with navigating our insurance benefits and made what is usually a daunting process feel like someone else is there in your corner.
Most importantly, Jaymi showed exceptional kindness and personal care toward my 5-year-old daughter. She made her feel comfortable, included, and excited (even the week wait for her "superhero glasses") throughout the visit, which made a huge difference for us as parents. It’s rare to find someone who combines expertise, efficiency, and genuine compassion so naturally.
Jaymi S. is an incredible asset to LensCrafters, and because of her, we will absolutely be returning and recommending this location to others. Thank you for such an outstanding customer experience!

The right leg of my glasses was bent due to a blow at a pickleball session. I asked an eye-care place tried to fix it for me, and they did their best to adjust it. However, the two legs still looked oddly unbalanced. I stopped by at LensCrafters at the MarketFair in Princeton. Mishant Soni first checked when I purchased the pair and whether I had a protection plan. Knowing this was an older pair (still looks new as I only wear them during sports and driving), he offered to help correct the deformed leg, but also warned me this would be a risky task as the thin leg might too fragile and might break. I said I would accept the worst outcome.
After a few minutes, to my surprise, he came back with my glasses totally restored to its original condition - unbelievable! Thank you Mishant, for your timely help and great technique. I will be so happy to wear this pair during my vacation next week!

Have been buying glasses at LensCrafter for years now. Always pleased with the quality of the service, and today's visit was no exception. Leslie patiently helped me navigate my way through some confusion about my vision insurance plan, and she and Julie helped me find just the right combination of frames, lenses, and protection plan. They were caring, knowledgeable, personable, and clearly committed to helping me make the right choices.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
