  My family had a wonderful experience with Home Instead of Ocean County! From the beginning, they were transparent about how everything works, what to expect, etc. - even how the pricing/billing works - which made us feel much more comfortable and confident moving forward. The caregivers who worked with my Grandmother (Maria, Jesse, Anna) were amazing. They were compassionate, attentive, professional, and treated her with genuine kindness and respect. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. The office staff (Kathleen, Amanda,Davina, Caryn, and everyone else) was just as impressive. They were always friendly, responsive, and willing to answer any questions we had. It really felt like they cared about our family and wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for care for a loved one. They made a difficult time so much easier, and we are truly grateful for the support they provided.

  I needed someone to stay with my elderly aunt 24/7 for a couple of weeks due to frequent falls after a recent hospitalization. Davina understood our situation and on short notice was able to provide staff around the clock. My aunt was very resistant to this idea and didn’t want them there watching over her in the beginning. The ladies who came to assist her were so nice and helpful that my aunt grew to love them. And now that the two weeks are over she truly misses them! Davina at Home Instead came through when we needed help and everyone she sent was caring and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend Home Instead. All of the above still stands, but I took away two stars because of deceptive billing. If you deal with this company be sure to read the contract carefully and be sure you have double the amount in your bank account so you don’t have an issue of being overdrawn like we did. It’s too complicated to go into detail, but trust me that you can’t take anything for granted. In addition, they seem to be short staffed and will bill you for overtime hours because they overwork their staff, which should be their problem, not their clients.

  Home instead is the best for my mom. Proficient and caring goes aling way with us. Shanna is wonderful, mom loves it when she sees her in the morning. Shanna is outstanding in all that she does for mom. Thank you! The Rhoades Family

  Although my parents only needed short term assistance, we could not be more pleased with the assistance we received from the office staff and the home aid worker that was provided. I would definitely recommend Home Instead!

  Home Instead Senior Care Waretown has been wonderful. The caregivers are kind, compassionate, respectful and reliable. The office staff are very responsive to our needs and have been able to meet all of our requests. I highly recommend them.
