  The staff at the Toms River Pearle Vision are very competent and friendly. My husband and I also found the doctor to be very thorough and friendly. We were also impressed at how efficient the office is run. We will definitely be using them for all of our future appointments and eye wear.

  I had an exceptional experience at the Pearl Vision in Tom’s River. The manager Sherri was extremely helpful when my prescription that was ordered by another source did not work out. I had my new glasses and frames prescription filled at Pearl Vision. They have a great selection to choose from and had exactly what I was looking for. Everyone from front desk to Ophthalmologist and the manager Sherri were beyond accommodating. I really appreciated the great customer service, time and patience. Thank you!

  This was my very first time here And was very impressed. The staff was efficient, friendly, and very helpful The.Doctor was very pleasant and made sure that all of my questions were answered. He was also very efficient Very impressed and will be back for my next appointment

  I have visited The Eye Health Group of Toms River several times in the past and always had positive experiences with Dr. D'Allura. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was very disappointing and has made me reconsider returning to this practice. I scheduled my appointment online and received both an email confirmation and a reminder. However, when I arrived, I was told that I did not have an appointment. After several minutes, I showed the front desk my confirmation email, and they were able to fit me in. I was told there had been issues with their online appointment system. After completing the required paperwork, I was brought to the back for several pretests. It was only then that I was informed that Dr. D'Allura was no longer with the practice and that Dr. Natasha Chawla would be seeing me instead. While I was waiting, Dr. Chawla walked by and told me she would be with me in about five minutes. Once the technician finished the testing, I was asked to return to the reception area to wait. After approximately 15 minutes, the staff appeared concerned that Dr. Chawla was still in the break room, and someone went to get her. When Dr. Chawla eventually saw me, I found her demeanor to be cold and unwelcoming. The exam itself felt rushed, and I left feeling that she did not want to be there. What concerned me most happened afterward. While I was waiting for my prescriptions, I heard Dr. Chawla ask one of the technicians if she was working Saturday. Dr. Chawla then stated that she was also working Saturday and added, "hopefully that's my last day here." I understand that staffing changes happen and that technical problems can occur. However, the combination of the appointment issue, not being informed beforehand that my regular doctor had left the practice, the extended waiting, and the overall experience with the covering doctor was very disappointing. I had been happy with this practice in the past, which makes this experience even more unfortunate. Based on this visit, I will likely be looking elsewhere for my eye care going forward.
