- KKKhadijah5 days ago5.0Dahina was an exceptional sales person. She has a great eye for style and finding the perfect fit for you. I've purchased 4 pairs of glasses in the past month. The Springfield NJ location has a variety of designer frames to choose from.
- AGAbraham GiraudOct 8, 20265.0All employees showed a professional performance.
- KRKatia RuizAug 26, 20261.0So I have been going to lens crafter in Springfield for year.Me and my 3 children. So we spend a good amount of money every time we go. Now,my youngest son Went for his exam and order is glasses, they say it will take 2 weeks time Pass so he called and they told him they had the lenses but they frame was not ready yet. So he waited another week and call again and the person told my son that his frames were shipped but she/he lied to his face because days after that he got a call saying the frames were discontinued. So he had to go in again ans choose new frames,so he did he got there and they told Him to wait ,he waited for an hour while they would take care of people that walked in after him and when he said something the person was very rude I wish I new their name.😡And at the end he just cancel the order. After that terrible service. That said I will not go back to Lens Crafters in Springfield and will find a a place that takes better care of its young customers. You do not treat your paying customers that way,we do not go there for free staff we pay a good amount of money for our glasses because we like the best. Again terrible experience for my son.
- MCmarie CanigliaJul 25, 20265.0Christine my sales associate was wonderful. Patient and extremely helpful. Ordered my glasses and walked away with a smile.
- HRHeather RobinsonJul 22, 20265.0Matea greeted me warmly when I entered the store. She walked me through my first prescription glasses purchase with care, patience, and kindness. The store was comfortable, and had positive vibes amongst the employees. I’ve been here on various occasions with my sons, for glasses purchases, and have never had a bad experience. Matea explained my insurance coverage clearly, as well as my options (I was considering progressive lenses, but also other solutions for my particular vision needs). I’ll return here again, and again! I’d considered going to other retailers, but LensCrafters being in-network with my EyeMed meant it was the most economical outlet, and one that meant to least work on my part (no claims to file).
Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters
How do I know if my child needs glasses?
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
