Apart from being shut out from famiy and friends, the embarrassment is difficult to deal with as well. That said, since I am one of those people who lost nearly 60% of his hearing, I know the feeling and it's devastating. It includes a range of needs but first and foremost is where does one go to hear again; just like you did before you lost your hearing. I am the owner of 4 sets of hearing aids. Each pair was purchased from a reputable company. Unfortunately, the first three fell far short of solving my problem. Then I randomly found Miracle Ear and my life was changed. I'll never forget ther day I walked out of their office in Somerset, NJ. wearing my new hearing aids. As I opened the door, I could hear the wind blowing. I could hear the sounds of cars passing. As I closed the door behind me, I was daring enough to say good morning to a passer-by. It was like a miracle. I heard my voice like I did 20 years ago and i heard the voice of the person responding to my daily wish. I was afraid of the initial exchange since it had failed me several times before. This particular day convinced me that I could hear as well or better than I did before I lost my hearing. I was equally convinced that there are hearing aid companies and there is Miracle Ear. Miracle Ear will not allow you to leave their premises unless you are 100% satisfied. They strive for perfection and nothing less. In my case, they far exceeded my expectations. The feeling of hearing again is miraculous. I suppose that's why they are called Miracle Ear. There are hearing aids and there is Miracle Ear. Don't waste your time or money searching to find a solution to the loss of a critical sense. Run to Miracle Ear where you'll be able to hear the beauty of the blowing wind. It's magnificent.
