I will say that the staff at this location is very welcoming and pleasant, however I ultimately had a terrible experience getting new glasses from this location. I went in for an eye exam on August 3rd. The eye doctor asked me during the exam if I had ever tried contacts and I said no. She said that she had some samples she could give me to try and sent me into an adjacent room where an employee (who was very kind and patient) began showing me how to put contacts in. I ultimately did not like the contact lenses and was surprised when without any notice prior, my exam became a "contact lens exam" and the cost of the exam increased significantly as a result. About a week later, the glasses I ordered arrived. I put them on and was unable to use them at all. I returned them to the store where an optician looked at them and realized that the prism that my prescription called for was not included in the lenses. He apologized and reordered a new pair. After another week, that pair arrived and I had similar difficulty using the glasses at all. For a third time, I returned to the store and a different optician found that I have been measured incorrectly in the store and the reading portion of the lenses were too high, and in my line of sight. He apologized and offered to order a third pair of glasses, with the correct prescription and no reading portion at all, which is nearly identical to the glasses I had from before my visit to Warby Parker. At this point, I have paid nearly $200 for an eye exam to give me the same prescription I had before, and over $200 for glasses which have been reordered because of Warby Parker's errors a total of three times at this point. I've been back and forth to their store three times and 28 days have passed since my eye exam. I sincerely wish that I had never gone to Warby Parker; I would have saved $400, three trips to their store, 4 weeks of waiting and a ton of frustration.

I went into Warby Parker with a large request. I didn’t like the frames I bought online and I wanted a different color. The sales rep didn’t even blink (no pun intended.) She took my glasses to the optician and he changed them to the new color. I told the sales rep I would be happy to pay for the change because it was my mistake, but she waved that away. I also asked for a new lens case for my contact lenses. She gave me a whole kit including lens solution. And again, she didn’t charge me, although she could have. Warby Parker didn’t have to do any of this, but they thought of the customer first. Rather than nickel and dime me, they looked at me as a long term customer. They were friendly, efficient and didn’t make me feel bad for buying the wrong color without coming to the store first. Thank you Shrewsbury Warby Parker team!
