I had a great experience getting my sunglasses repaired by Chris. The service was fast, professional, and the quality of the repair exceeded my expectations. My sunglasses look and feel like new again. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and the attention to detail was impressive. I highly recommend them to anyone needing eyewear repairs. Thank you for bringing my favorite pair back to life!

Worst eye doctor appointment I’ve ever had. The eye exam and glasses area are technically in the same space, but they operate like two completely disconnected departments — and neither seems to care about patients.
The exam started with two receptionists who had cold, uninterested attitudes, like they hated being there. One of them brought me into a room full of machines without explaining a single thing. She told me to sit at one machine, then abruptly said “not that one” because I “didn’t pay for that extra exam.” It felt unnecessary and unprofessional.
She never explained what any of the machines were for. Every answer to my questions was short, annoyed, and dismissive. When I asked if she was the eye doctor, she said she was a technician — and didn’t bother explaining anything further. I even had to ask if I would actually see an eye doctor since it was my first visit. Her attitude made it seem like my questions were a problem.
The eye doctor herself was friendly, but when I asked what changed from last year to this year, she gave a vague answer without actually addressing my question.
After the exam, the same technician handed me my prescription and said nothing. Once again, I had to ask what to do next. She told me to go to the glasses section.
Over there, the experience wasn’t any better. The person helping me took a long time just to pull up my information and didn’t guide me to the section my insurance covers — something every other place I’ve been to does automatically. When I said I only needed replacement lenses for my Ray-Ban Metas, they tried charging me hundreds just for lenses.
At that point, I’d had enough. I understand it’s a business, but the only thing they seemed focused on was squeezing money out of patients. Zero customer service, zero communication, zero care.
I will never walk into that place again.

I had an excellent experience at LensCrafters thanks to Chris! He took the time to help me find the perfect pair of glasses and made the entire process easy and enjoyable. Chris was incredibly personable, patient, and knowledgeable. He also worked with me on the price and helped me find options that fit my budget without sacrificing quality. His customer service was outstanding from start to finish. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping customers, I highly recommend asking for Chris. Thank you for making what can be a stressful decision such a positive experience!

I have been a loyal LensCrafters customer for over 10 years across California and Las Vegas. Having recently relocated, the hostile, deceptive, and appalling experience I had at this location ensures I will never step foot in a LensCrafters again.
The doctor who wrote my prescription and I discussed my previous dissatisfaction with progressive lenses years ago. She said since I had only tried them for half an hour it wasn't a fair trial as it takes weeks to adjust. I passed this info on to Carey the salesperson. She sold me 2 pairs for $1100. Just after I left, a friend who is knowledgeable on glasses recommended I get a refund as she felt the glasses were overpriced and to request the Pupillary Distance so I could get the prescription filled elsewhere. I apologized to Carey and said it was out of my budget. She said I couldn't have a refund unless I came all the way back to the store when the glasses were ready. She was going to put the Lenscrafters lab through the time and expense to make and ship these glasses and make me drive 80 minutes round trip to get a refund for an order I paid for just 10 minutes prior. Then to save the sale told me there was a lower priced option and wrote the figures for a $726 total on a post-it, which she then crumpled up. She was visibly upset at my request to exercise the 100% unconditional money back guarantee. and with a sarcastic smile said, "No you're not getting the Pupillary Distance figures. I'm glad your friend has had such success getting cheapo glasses elsewhere, but it’s not what we make here!" She stormed off.
After some thought, I asked another sales associate to put the lower priced order through. When Carey asked what the problem was, I said, "I want to work with him now. I don't appreciate your sarcasm and snippiness." She said, "I'm sorry about that, it's just that we're slammed here and I put all this time writing your order. You'll just have to get used to how things are on the East Coast. This is how we talk to people. You're not in California anymore!" She wasn't with any other customers. Just standing there with a sales associate talking behind the counter. There were perhaps 2 other customers in the store. Slammed? I replied, "I lived on the East Coast until I was 29..." I tried to explain that the region shouldn't be an allowable reason for rude customer service, but she was getting upset and cutting me off repeatedly as she grew more heated arguing with me.
I told her I also didn’t like that she never laid out all the figures for the different priced glasses. She said, “I had you get the premium glasses because you didn’t do well with the standard glasses”. I replied, “but both the doctor and you and I discussed that I needed more than 30 minutes with the glasses for my brain to adjust. You didn’t give me the additional options.” She was getting shrill and shouting across the store now so that other customers could overhear the argument. She said, “That is provably wrong!” (There was no written quote other than the post-it she wrote later). I’ve come to understand now there are 4 levels of progressive lens prices, and I was only given the option of the most expensive one. She stormed out of the showroom while the other sales associate gave me a $390 refund for the difference. Carey said they couldn’t give refunds prior to the glass’s delivery, but the other associate was able to give me a partial so why not a full refund? Considering the rudeness, personal attacks and unprofessionalism I experienced I will just be requesting a refund and taking my business elsewhere from now on.
Do not reply with a generic automated template asking me to fill out an online customer care form; process my pending $726 refund at the store level immediately or I'll have to dispute the charge for merchandise not received.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
