  Extremely rude and uncomfortable experience with Mike I have never been treated this rudely by someone in a customer service position. I went to Warby Parker to book a contact lens appointment. The prescription I had was from Warby Parker themselves and had expired only three days earlier. The next available appointment was Tuesday, so I booked that appointment. Since I only needed enough contacts to get me through until Tuesday, I asked if I could have a few contacts from the prescription they had previously issued to me. I was asked to wait while Mike finished his conversation, and I waited approximately 25 minutes. When he was finished, he completely ignored me, so I approached him myself. He rolled his eyes at me and immediately had an extremely rude and dismissive attitude. I explained the situation clearly: my prescription was a Warby Parker prescription, it had only expired three days ago, and I had already scheduled an appointment with them for Tuesday. I simply wanted enough contacts to get me through until that appointment. Instead of respectfully explaining the policy, Mike became argumentative and told me that unless I purchased a case of contacts from them right then, he was not going to give me a sample. I explained again that I was already scheduled for Tuesday and would be taking care of everything then given my prescription was expired. His response was, “If you’re not going to buy it right now, I’m not going to help you.” At that point, I told him I would cancel the appointment. His reaction was completely disproportionate. He became visibly red and, in an aggressive tone, told me, “You go cancel it.” I was honestly shocked by the way I was spoken to. If there was a policy preventing him from providing contacts because the prescription had expired, he could have simply explained that professionally. Instead, I was met with eye-rolling, attitude, dismissiveness, and an unnecessarily confrontational interaction over a prescription that had been issued by Warby Parker themselves and had expired only THREE days earlier. Mike’s behavior was completely unprofessional and made what should have been a simple interaction extremely uncomfortable and intimidating.

  What an awesome and friendly place! Went for both an exam and glass ( I knew I needed updated reading glasses) I figured the exam would be quick and less detailed than my "regular" eye doctor that I usually go to, but wow, she really took her time and was awesome. Then when I was looking around for a pair the sales help were super chill and no pressure I was able to try the frames, shade colors etc .. with no pressure at all. I got progressives, and they told me to come back and they will "train me" on how to get used to them, which is awesome. PS: where they are located in center of all the great places to eat, so it's a win-win :)

  Smooth experience. Came in with my prescription and got the exact frames I wanted. The staff was excellent as well.
