It was our first time getting glasses for my son and Kenneth was a lot of help through the entire process. When we picked up the glasses a few days later, the staff was incredibly nice and made sure we didn’t leave the store until my son’s glasses were adjusted (Michael noticed they were loose- thank you for that!)

I love lens crafters, and Keyla was awesome to work with!! She was super kind, diligent, and worked to get me the pair of glasses I not only loved, but for the best price! If you get the chance to come by and work with Keyla, she’s got you! 😀

I left my private eye doctor of 30 years and came here, and honestly I never trusted LensCrafters before—but the staff and quality were mind-blowing, better than I ever expected. I should have come here sooner. From the moment I walked in, the whole experience just felt different—welcoming, professional, and actually focused on me instead of rushing through another transaction. Michael was amazing. He took real time to understand what worked for my face, my comfort, and my vision, and didn’t just push whatever I pointed at. He actually guided me to the correct frames, and you can tell he genuinely cares about getting it right. Kenneth was fantastic the entire time—super helpful, attentive, and made sure everything moved smoothly without ever feeling rushed or pressured. Julie helped me in between as well, and the teamwork between all of them really stood out. Everyone was on the same page and it showed. For the first time in a long time, I felt like someone actually cared about getting me the proper glasses—not just making a sale or checking a box. That level of attention and professionalism is hard to find. My previous eye place got sold to new owners and was never the same, and I honestly didn’t think I’d find that level of trust again—but this completely changed my expectations. This LensCrafters will absolutely be my place to go from now on. The difference in service, care, and overall experience is night and day. I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know without hesitation.

I’ve been a loyal customer for the past several years and have spent a significant amount of money on glasses from this company. Last year alone, I purchased two expensive pairs with progressive and transitional lenses. Unfortunately, both pairs have been extremely disappointing. Two weeks ago, my primary pair lost its clarity and now constantly looks foggy, making it very difficult to see properly. When I tried relying on my backup pair, I discovered the lenses were not made correctly and do not function as they should. When I returned to the Paramus, NJ location for help, instead of resolving these serious issues, I was met with excuses, dismissive service, and no real effort to correct the problems. I became so frustrated and upset by the lack of support that I left both pairs at the store and walked out. After years of loyalty and substantial purchases, I expected far better quality, professionalism, and customer care. Instead, I was left with two expensive pairs of glasses that were unusable and a company unwilling to stand behind its products. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location due to poor product quality, disappointing customer service, and complete lack of accountability.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
