From the very first phone call inquiring about the repair of my Starkey Hearing Aid to my very first visit to the office, I felt so blessed to have contacted Better Hearing Inc. Services for my Starkey were provided by a Hearing Center where I felt extremely comfortable and provided great services located in Wayne, NJ. I live slightly over two hours away from Wayne and was in need of a repair to my aid. Elise was so professional, informative, helpful, non-judgemental, and extremely on point with making my first visit go smooth. With that, she informed me that my State Insurance did not cover certain services that I may need currently or in the future. She was eager to immediately reach out to Mona, the Audiologist, who greeted me with a warm smile to help me. She was just wonderful, genuine, and kind to me. I am still insecure about my conductive hearing loss and it becomes a challenge each day. Mona helped me feel confident in my ability to hear better, learn, understand, and live with my inability to hear fully and it's gradual loss. Mona really took the time to include me in being proactive with wearing my aid. To top it off, she didn't charge me a fee. I say that because the services that I received from her staff and her were not about a typical fee for medical services. I could really see that the visit was about being kind to a fellow human being, who happens to be me. We all deserve this everyday way of kindness.
