Cari is a wonderful Pilates instructor! I’m so happy with her classes that I haven’t taken classes with any other instructors, although I’m sure they’re great too. I really enjoy her teaching style and always look forward to her classes!

If I could give zero stars, I would, but I had to give one star in order to leave this review.
I scheduled an introductory session this past Tuesday. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with the instructor and left feeling uncertain about whether the membership would be worth the investment.
When I got home, I realized I had accidentally left my YETI insulated water bottle (worth about $40) at the studio. I received a phone call informing me that it had been found and would be placed in the lost-and-found for me to pick up.
I wasn’t able to stop by on Wednesday because I had a doctor’s appointment. On Thursday, I called the studio to ask questions about the unlimited membership, including whether it allowed access to other locations and how their pricing compared. Before ending the call, I asked about my water bottle and mentioned that I would be coming by to pick it up. The same employee assured me that it was still there and even thanked me when I said I appreciated them holding it.
Later that evening, I purchased an unlimited membership at another Club Pilates location because my experience there was completely different. The instructor took much more time explaining not only the exercises but also proper body positioning and how Pilates contributes to healing and overall wellness. Since I’m investing over $260 per month, I appreciated the thorough instruction and attention to detail.
Instead of driving back to retrieve my bottle myself, I sent my son. When he arrived, he looked in the lost-and-found cubby but couldn’t find it. I was surprised because I had just spoken with the studio a short time earlier and had been told it was there.
According to my son, an employee looked through the lost-and-found several times, then went toward the back of the studio and never returned with any additional information. Since I wondered whether it had accidentally been discarded, my son checked the trash can—and found my YETI water bottle in the trash.
That was the most disappointing part of my experience. The lost-and-found still contained other items, yet my bottle had somehow ended up in the trash after I had twice been told it was being held for me. I don’t know how or why that happened, so I won’t speculate, but I do know that finding my personal property in the trash after being assured it was safe was both frustrating and disappointing.
I believe customer service is measured not only by how people speak to customers but also by how they treat their belongings and handle situations honestly. Respect and integrity matter.
Although I was upset initially, I’ve chosen to let it go. I forgive the situation—not because of the value of the bottle, but because holding on to resentment isn’t beneficial. I simply hope this experience encourages better communication and greater care for customers’ property in the future.
For anyone reading this review, trust your instincts when choosing a business. We all notice things differently, and if something doesn’t feel right to you, it’s okay to explore other options until you find a place where you feel comfortable, respected, and valued.
