She told me I would “just have to look” because all prices were mixed together. I went across the street to For Eyes where I was shown a selection of lower priced frames. The gentleman then fitted me offered options and placed my order. The experience was friendly and efficient. Perhaps the situation at LensCrafters was not typical. Perhaps the woman was having a bad day. But it is good to remember that there is only one opportunity to make a first impression.

I've owned several prescription glasses and I have never lost a lens, let alone lose one, 5 short days from purchase. I didn't purchase a warranty; an add on, no other lenscrafter has offered to me but yet here I am 5 days later with a lost lens and not willing to pay 1/2 of retail to replace.
