I’ve done spin class before . This was my first time at this this place. Had our class with Liz she was very motivating with her words. She had a great class . I sweated my butt off. One thing I didn’t enjoy was all the Taylor swift music. It didn’t turn me on. Overall she’s a great instructor . I’d return with another instructor. Just cause I’m not a swiftie . My friend did mention after the class that it did mention something bout swiftie . Can’t wait to check it out again

I highly recommend Cyclebar Montclair to people of all ages and abilities!
Five years ago, I was diagnosed with diabetes, and my daughter suggested spin class to help manage my blood sugar. She was 100% right—it completely helped me get my diabetes under control!
Over the last few years I’ve connected with so many fellow riders and found it to be a truly inclusive, positive community made up of people from all backgrounds.
The instructors are highly trained, kind, and incredibly encouraging, and the variety of class styles means there is something for every fitness level. Plus, the music playlists are fantastic and the theme rides are a blast 🚀
The studio itself is clean, well-run, and in a great location. The staff are experienced, helpful, and responsive—you can ask them anything and they will go above and beyond to guide you.
I hope to see you there!

Cycling is something I've always wanted to try, but I was honestly nervous. I'm not someone who works out often, and the idea of taking a fitness class felt intimidating. Taking a class with different instructors completely changed my perspective on getting out there and moving my body.
From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. When it came time to pick out my cycling shoes, I had no idea what I was doing. Even though there was a sign, I completely missed it, and the girls at the front desk were so kind and helpful without making me feel embarrassed or out of place. They got me set up quickly, and I was able to settle into my bike in the back of the room. The studio was incredibly clean, organized, and inviting.
The class itself was nothing like I expected. I thought it would simply be someone telling us what movements to do, but it was so much more than that. What truly made me fall in love with this studio was the motivation and genuine care behind every word shared.
The encouragement from the girls wasn't just about pushing harder physically it was about believing in yourself, letting go of what others might think, and being present for yourself in that moment.
As someone who has never felt particularly comfortable working out, especially in a room full of people, I was amazed by how open, supportive, and welcoming the environment felt. Instead of feeling judged, I felt encouraged. Instead of feeling intimidated, I felt empowered.
This experience left me feeling proud of myself and excited to come back. If you've been nervous to try cycling or fitness classes in general, I can't recommend this studio enough. They truly create a space where everyone feels welcome, no matter where they are in their fitness journey.

Used to be a member at cyclebar fort Lee the classes were great and it was an awesome workout. They closed and there are none local to me anymore so it’s been a while. I found the shorts I bought from them and wanted to still use them but noticed I had ripped off the tag apparently. I called CycleBar Montclair to simply ask if their shorts can go in the dryer and the receptionist refused to tell me because I bought them in Fort Lee and not Montclair. Suddenly, I remembered cyclebar’s weakest point: all the employees are 16-22 year old mean girls and it really takes from the experience. It seemed like she just really wanted to avoid an opportunity to be a decent human.
