  Angel is literally amazing! I have only been going for 3 months but I always look forward to her class specifically. If I could take her every class I would. She makes it so fun!

  Pilates genuinely had a positive impact on my physical and mental health, which is part of why this experience was so disappointing. I had several positive experiences at this studio and truly enjoyed certain instructors and classes throughout my membership. Unfortunately, my most recent experience completely changed how I viewed the studio culture and professionalism. I arrived to class during an unexpected childcare situation and arrived early to set up at reformer number 1, which gave me a clear sightline to my soon-to-be 5-year-old son. I was calmly trying to get him settled quietly with headphones, snacks, and a movie long enough to keep him occupied through class, along with strict instructions to remain seated directly within my sightline. I fully understood that the studio may not have been able to accommodate that situation, and I was not asking anyone to “watch” my child or assume responsibility for him. What upset me was not the policy itself, but how the situation was handled. Instead of approaching me privately and professionally, the instructor loudly addressed me across the waiting area in front of other members and my son with visible irritation and a scolding tone. The interaction was unnecessarily public, reactive, and disrespectful, especially considering I remained calm and immediately began packing up to leave once told no. As someone who works in customer-facing environments myself, I understand boundaries and liability policies completely. However, professionalism and empathy still matter when communicating with paying members, especially parents who are clearly trying to navigate a difficult moment responsibly. I also found front desk coverage and overall studio communication to be inconsistent throughout my membership, which added to the frustration surrounding the cancellation process. The studio processed my cancellation quickly, which I do appreciate, but the overall experience no longer aligned with the sense of community and professionalism I originally believed the studio represented. I will finish the remainder of my membership, but it genuinely saddens me that an experience like this ultimately changed my perspective enough to move on.
