Opportunity knocked on Jersey Strong's door in mid 2013, as a large privately owned health club in Manalapan New Jersey was about to shut its doors. Its owners came to the Roma family, and Jersey Strong Manalapan was born in December 2013. Though the club had a membership base in place and Jersey Strong staff moved over immediately, it still wasn’t quite a wow. That was until a 1.8 million dollar renovation swept through in the spring and summer of 2014 and transformed Jersey Strong Manalapan into a sleek brand new Jersey Strong location. It’s located on Gordon’s Corner Road in Manalapan, just off Route 9 and close to famous Englishtown Auction.
