  Patient Beware. I joined Medi Weight Loss excited and hopeful. Kelly and April were amazing and a big part of my success. Unfortunately, my experience was completely overshadowed by the front office, which was managed by the owners' sister Elise. Over the five months I was there, I personally experienced what I felt was disrespectful, demeaning, and unprofessional treatment. I finally brought my concerns directly to the owners, hoping they would listen and address them. Instead, my future appointments were canceled without even speaking to me. No phone call, No referral, Nothing! Just text messages of cancelled appointments. What really opened my eyes was hearing from staff members that several employees had left (at least 4 my 4 months there) because of the way they were treated by the owners' sister. I was also told that other patients had stopped coming because of the way she spoke to and treated them. Based on my own experience and what I witnessed and stated by employees,there was a pattern of different treatment toward some patients of color. In addition I caught them overcharging for my vitamin injections and they have yet to return my credit. I'm grateful for the weight I lost, but no one should have to deal with being treated that way. If you're considering this practice, I would strongly encourage you to look for care elsewhere where patients are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

  I should have went with my gut feeling with this place! When it says check your insurance to see if qualifies..it does NOT check but you do get harassed with calls from that moment. You can tell they work on some sort of commission because they do not give up..So I went in, no other patients, turns out You Yourself needs to check if qualify as if they do it they say it can take weeks to months..then get this .your co pay weekly is $50 with insurance for them to inject and weigh you and you have to go in as they will not give it to you..everyone else does it themselves however they need a reason to bill your insurance as this is as they told me considered a specialized visit..somehow I bought it for a bit and left $50 towards my next day visit to talk to someone..after thinking about what was told to me I decided I do not to proceed and I told them 30minutes later..and SURPRISE..they say my $50 was not refundable.. nowhere was i told I could not get it back but shame on me for falling for it..they must really need it cause they do not want to give it back..saved myself $50 weekly Oh and there are supplements you must also buy that are $130 and then weekly shots that range $15 to $25 in addition that you should take along with the weight loss for benefit....no thanks

  This facility is amazing. All of the staff are very friendly, encouraging and motivating. Overall service great! From the beginning to the end.

  Wonderful program. The appetite suppressant really works enabling me to follow the high-protein low- calorie plan. Beginning of Sept to beginning of Dec lost 52 pounds. Got the two shots weekly. Felt great. Took December off and maintained weight loss. January back on lost another 10 pounds. If you are struggling to lose weight go to Mediweightloss it's worth your health, time aND money.

  Just when you think there are no answers for weight loss- you can turn to Medi. As a patient and a nurse practitioner here, I can speak to the quality of our service and the sincerity and competency of our entire Livingston staff. Losing weight can be tricky and is always challenging, but with the professional guidance and support you receive at Medi, it is entirely possible! Thank you Medi.
